New B32 fall classes and two new instructors.

If you check out our instructor list you will find two new instructors.

Jaime Gaudet of Halfmoon Studios will be teaching a number of classes including some for children, adolecents, and adults. Jaime has a BFA,and an MS in Art Therapy. Check out her bio and here numerous offerings.

We/ve been trying to get Karen Freedman to teach an encaustic workshop and now we have her! If you don't know anything about encaustic Karen gives you a historic look at her website. See encaustic history here.

Pam Pawl and Sandy Chierci are offering their textile and fused glass workshops and Nancy Halbert is back with drawing offerings.

We hope to add more. So join us for our new season, we look forward to seeing you at B32.

 

New Exhibition Space Opens at Sherman Mills in East Falls : Carano Gallery

Sherman Mills, East Falls is pleased to announce the opening of a cooperative gallery named in honor of Frank Canaro, philanthropist and mentor to developer Mark Sherman. An inaugural exhibition that showcases the works of twenty-nine resident visual artists will run through August 18th., with a public reception to meet the artists on Friday, June 13th from 5 to 7 pm.

The gallery walls are hung salon style with 75 abstract and realistic paintings, drawings, photographs and textiles. Also included are sculptures, glass works, pottery and jewelry. All works are for sale directly from the artists.

The gallery is open weekend from 11 am to 5 pm.
